Good morning, my sisters and brothers. Those three simple actions may separate us from obtaining the blessings God has for us. In His Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 7:7 and Luke 12:9), Jesus states these 3 concepts. Notice, the first letter of the 3 words spell ASK. Jesus simply desires a relationship with His people. He is no “Sugar Daddy,” but, if you ask and seek His will, the door shall be opened to you. May your day be joyful and blessed.
Good morning, good people. Today, I want to encourage you to consider a way to protect your “renewed mind” by making sure you think thoughts that are pleasing to God. There is no in-between. We know when our thoughts are off-center. Do not give the ungodly thoughts a chance to quack. It really is a duck!!! So, unless you are making Orange Duck for dinner, get rid of it. Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, think on these things!!! Have a blessed day!!! Much agape love!!!
“IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR ME?”
That’s what God asked Jeremiah, when Jeremiah was faced with what should not have been a difficult decision of obedience. My sisters and brothers: No matter what you are facing in your life; no matter how impossible it may seem for a positive outcome, keep the commands of God!!! When you told your child to clean the room, and they could go to the movies...did you make sure to honor what you promised? Well, so, too, does God want our obedience. When we do so, there is NOTHING...I mean NO THING too hard for God!!! He will reward your obedience!!! Rainy, sunshine, blustery winds...what a glorious day it is!!! Enjoy every minute, remembering THERE IS NOTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD!!! HIS BLOOD STILL COVERS.
A friend recently made a post to Facebook that his young daughter woke him in the middle of the night to ask him to cover her back up. Of course, he lovingly did so. It reminded me that Jesus shed His blood on the cross to cover us (Matthew 26:28). A favorite Kurt Carr song reminds us that, after all these years, His blood still has miraculous powers because it STILL washes; it STILL cleanses; it STILL covers; it STILL delivers!!! Today is a good time to remember how blessed we are! Good morning! A ROCK NAMED JESUS.
“He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense; I shall not be greatly moved” (Psalm 62:2). Good morning, my brothers and sisters. Like me, life events may cause your knees to buckle some moments of some days. That’s ok. Just go ahead and pray and praise Him while you’re down there! But NOTHING (no matter the pain and tears) will cause my feet to be moved from the road of righteousness and my love for my Rock named Jesus!!! I pray you are encouraged by this right now testimonial. WATCH GOD PROVIDE!!!
Good morning, my good people! This morning, I awoke with Tamela Mann’s song, “God Provides” in my spirit. I actually thought I was hearing “let God arise,” but was reassured I was to share that He WILL provide. Many, if not most, have heard the term, Jehovah-Jireh. Well, that term is found is Genesis 22:14 and refers to the Bible story when God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son to prove his love and faithfulness to God. Just as Abraham raised his hand to slay his son, he heard a sound and looked to see a ram with its horns caught in a thicket. Of course, then God told Abraham to not touch the child because He (God) received Abraham’s intent as genuine and, therefore, provided an animal for the sacrifice. Clearly, God has not required that kind of sacrifice from you, but He does require faithfulness from those who profess love for Him. If you are faithful, HE WILL PROVIDE!!! Always!!! I love you! Have a blessed and prosperous day and “watch God provide!” LOVE YOUR ENEMIES (Matthew 5:43-48).
Early this morning, God led me to this awesome video about a boy who killed the son of a woman who later adopted him as her son. God said to remind you to, “love your enemies, bless them which despitefully use you, and persecute you...” He went on to say in verse 46, “if you love them which love you, what reward have you?” As Christians, we must step up our game to endure the pain and exhibit the love of Christ Jesus. Truly, to do so is part of advanced citizenship in the Kingdom of God! I love you all! ARE YOUR STEPS TODAY ORDERED BY GOD?
Good morning, my friends. David tells us in Psalm 37:23 that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and that He delighted in His way. David refers to our journey in life...what we do from day to day. When we are God’s children (righteous men and women), we should ask Him each day what He would have us to do. When God tells us in His word, or when He speaks something specific to us, we should be excited (delighted) to do what He tells us to do. I am excited to know that TODAY, He has ordered my steps! Bless you all! |
